Current – Since September 2007 I’ve been Multimedia Team Leader at Catalyst Interactive. In addition to leading a team of multimedia designers and developers I’m doing OOP AS3 (and occasionally AS2) in Flash, AIR and Flex. My code is primarily ActionScript but also HTML, XML, Javascript, ANT and a little bit of Python. I’m also doing a lot of multimedia workflow, production metrics and team management.
June 2005 to May 2007 – Freelance Flash developer working in London.
Contracting to interactive design studios and web development teams. The types of jobs I’ve been working on include:
- Developing rich internet applications;
- Producing CD-ROM and web multimedia;
- Designing and enhancing multimedia and application interfaces; and
- Developing high-level customised programming solutions.
Focused primarily on large Flash projects involving multiple developers, using (mostly) open source Flash development tools. Working with Eclipse, MTASC, FDT, SWFMill, ANT and Subversion…
Before 2005 I spent 8 years developing and producing interactive web and multimedia projects in a variety of design/interactive/web studios as a full-time employee.
